§     I bent and formed parts to match the design on blueprints. I also worked as a punch press operator, where I formed parts out of metal, and I worked on the spray paint line in which I loaded and unloaded parts to be painted.

§     I worked for the high school during the summer for two years. In that time my responsibilities included maintaining the lawn and outward appearance of the school building. I also helped refinish floors, fixed broken items around the school, and a variety of other small jobs.

§     I’ve worked on the Schander Buffalo Ranch since 2000. I still help out there on weekends. I operated farm machinery, maintained machinery, built and fixed fence, put up hay, attended the animals. I also had daily chores, and a variety of other responsibilities.

Extracurricular activities

In high school I participated in football, basketball, track and field, band, FFA, 4-H, LYO (Lutheran Youth Organizations), and student council. I participated in track and field during college at the University of Mary. I helped perform a system analysis for the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bismarck.

Awards received

I received All Region Runner-up in football. I was an eight time state qualifier in track and placed three times at state. I also won season highest point award and set six school records in track. At the University of Mary I won DAC-10 Conference 4 x 200M relays. I was also on the Dean’s List for three semesters. I was selected to the NSIC All-Academic Team both semesters my junior year.
